Recon Core i3 Dual-Core Gaming PC
Just got everything installed! shipping was more than fast and product was packages well and everything was there to plug in and play! this is my first gaming computer and I have to say if your going to buy one this is the computer for the job! Everything is upgradable and the case has a lot of room to work with! I will be upgrading the graphics card but by no means is it a bad one to start of with! hope this helps someone make their decision like I did!
Very good system
First computer I've purchased via CybertronPC/Amazon and so far (just got it yesterday) I am quite pleased. Packing was awesome, box was flawless, all the driver software was there as well as HD mount and other screws. I installed my old hard drives with new SATA cables and power supply adapters, checked all the external screws (all tight) fired it up, validated Windows 7/64 and was off at high speed. My only niggling negative is there is a vibration transient though the case that I think is from the CPU fan, but banging on side takes care of it for now.
Got here on time Every thing works fine Had a little trouble with the Cd rom but they made it good
Awesome machine It worked straight out of the box with no issues. However there is NO wireless card inside this unit so to get the Internet you must either connect an Ethernet cable or do what I did and hook up a WIFI USB Adapter and that works great. Excellent value for the money. Very quiet and smooth running
This unit arrived on time and I hooked everything up, plugged it in and everything has been working beyond expectations! Very good gaming computer!
This copy of Windows is not genuine??? Wrong recovery disc shipped with the system
I just received my PC this morning and was amazed at the build quality of the chassis. I proceeded to connect my 27" monitor to the PC and boot it up. What was my surprise that after the Windows Starting splash screen, my monitor just went blank without receiving any signal. I then hooked up an old VGA monitor and right after the splash screen I noticed at the bottom a message saying that this copy of Windows is not genuine... Seriously? I'm re-installing Windows as attempting to fix the installation did not detect any errors.I will update my review as soon as the re-installation is done, but so far I'm deeply disappointed.****** FIRST UPDATE **********Went ahead with the re-installation by using the provided Windows CD (did not actually read what version it was, just saw the Windows logo and inserted the CD... more on that later) and when the system requested my Windows certificate key, I typed the one on the sticker located on the right hand side of the chassis. No luck, Windows said it was an invalid key, which left me no option but to call Cybertron. After providing details to identify my system, the guy from support asked where I had bought it. As soon as he heard Amazon he said, "Oh, I see... You need to call Microsoft support and get your key validated", which almost feels like they get this issue all the time, and still they haven't done anything to improve customer experience. Maybe posting a note on the Amazon description for the product would be enough, but I digress...So, I call MS support and after following the step provided by this support lady, the key is rejected again and she asks what Windows version was supposed to come with the system and which one I was installing. As you may already be thinking, the problem was that the Windows recovery CD did not match the with the license key on the side of the chassis. I had been provided a Windows Professional recovery disk and the key was for Home Edition. So back to call Cybertron, the tech guy apologizes for the inconvenience and says they can have a proper disk for Home Edition shipped to me. So in the mean time, I'm stuck with a non-licensed OS to which I can install software but once I get the proper disk, I will need to re-install? No freaking way! So I suggested on them providing a license key for Windows Professional. The tech guy said they couldn't do that as there was a price difference. I knew that, but I would suppose they would be willing to cover the price difference for having me spend over 5 hours trying to get my system up and running. In the end all I could get from them was a discount (just 20 dollars! not the full difference as I expected, which is around 40 bucks) for them providing me a key for Professional (first over the phone and then they would ship the label) and I will have to be sending back the Home Edition label to Cybertron. They actually put an amount equal to the price of the Home Edition version on hold on my CC which they said they would free up once the Home Edition key label is back with them "in pristine condition".Now that my system has been up and running, I'm completely satisfied with it; it is everything that I expected in terms of hardware but the fans do seem a bit noisy (probably I set my expectations too high on it being really quiet, as described in other reviews). The noise is just on par with a regular, non-gaming machine. This is my first gaming box which, I must say, am not planning to be using it for gaming... I needed a box with at least 8 GB of RAM and with this system having 16GB and being expandable up to 32 GB and taking the price point and the stellar reviews, it did seem like a good deal. Also, I wanted to avoid the old and tired vendors for their lousy customer service and bloatware infested systems. My rating does not as much reflect the quality of the PC (which I would actually go as far to say that is above and beyond of that provided by HP, Dell and Lenovo), as it does with the customer experience which Cybertron provided. It is the first time I get a machine which can't be booted up right out of the box although it is very comforting to see that there is no bloatware installed with the recovery disk. BTW, once I installed Windows, I still had to install all the drivers for the graphics card and the one for the network. So a process that would normally take me an hour and a half tops, became a bit over 7 hours.Would I take my business to Cybertron again? With what I went through, I'm not sure at this point, but I would really appreciate if they could take better care on making things right or taking preventive measures when it is something that apparently has happened before.
it runs great i play games like dayz, saints row IV, and a bit of cod it runs great at about 60 fps
Researched for a couple months before purchasing a gaming computer for my husband. Choose this one because of reviews from other gamers. Listened to what he wanted and this had most all. It was fast in getting here, and the packaging was fantastic. It's also very pretty blue. 8) . My husband loves it. Only thing he says probably later will upgrade graphics card. Works fine and is so much better than what he had. ABSOLUTELY we would recommend this computer. No problems at all.
So far so good...
Great computer! Very quiet and didn't come loaded full of junk software. Haven't Had any issues with this computer. I'd recommend it.
I don't usually write reviews but in this case it deserves an exception. I ordered this machine and it arrived with a defective logic board (not Amazon's fault). It took a 2 minute call to Cybertron and I had a pre-paid return label in my inbox. I had the replacement machine on my doorstep in 3 business days and I wrote this review using it. The replacement works flawlessly and I'm very satisfied with it. It's nice to see a company that takes care of its customers without any hassle. That's how to do business and keep customers. Highly recommended.
I gave this to my son for his birthday and he is very happy with it it plays all his games at full speed and told me to give 6 Stars out of Five . It arrived in the two days shipping and was in very good condition I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Gaming computer that won't break the bank
I was very happy to deal with Cybertron PC. They were professional in answering my questions and the PC arrived in perfect shape and a couple days early. I will easily deal with them anytime I need a new PC.
Great computer for the price
Being a huge gamer, and looking for a computer for my son, this had just about all he needed. Mind you I don't care for windows 8 but with a few fixes I was able to make it so accessible for my 13 year old to use. The computer runs wonderful, games run great and its such a fantastic buy. I would definitely recommend this computer to anyone.
Best Machine I've Ever Owned
I bought this primarily for playing Guild Wars 2 and it does amazingly well. I aim to upgrade the graphics card at some point, but otherwise, it's been amazing. About the only con I can think of is that I have the fans turned up all the way so it is a little noisy but this is not enough of a con for me to knock it down a star.
Quiet and powerful
Terrific machine, that arrived packed very well. It runs super fast, and I'm struck by how quiet the unit is, considering the case has so much built-in ventilation.
